Well I finally decided to be a little productive today.
Since I wanted to do a little painting of the race bike before the start of the season, and I was bored at work, and get (steal) free paint, I whipped this batch up
Picture 1: The sample, the cowl off my 04 ZX6R
Picture 2: Coronado Industrial Enamel Latex High Gloss
Picture 3: Steps 1-5 of color matching (who says my job isnt exciting)
Picture 4: The final mix, matches well, but its a little cold to start painting the race bike yet, so youll just have to wait to see the actual final results till the end of April
So if anyone needs some Kawi green house paint, lemme know, I got ya covered!
nice!
I don't need Kawi Green, but hows about Yami blue?

Oh I dont paint in the least. I hate painting. I just sell the crap, course when its my bike I find a way to do it.
And yes, the latex will hold up fine. Its not a "normal" house paint, like I said, its an industrial enamel, we typically sell it for cabinets, we use it on our counters at the store, the mbta goes through tons of the stuff for T stations and stuff. But it works well on bikes, I used it on my number plates last year.
Im also not spraying it, im just using a brush, so the finish isnt perfect, but its a race bike, i dont care.
