03 gsxr 1k throttle cable questions

my gsxr was in a front end incident and will be back from GMD next week ready to re assemble. my current throttle cables are shot and need to be replaced. i street ride the bike and plan to track it in the near future. i like the motion pro revolver kit but im not sure if it lets me remount my other switches on the grip for street riding. any suggestions?

I can take pics of my race bike that has a MP throttle on it with an after market kill switch (just did it)...when you remove the throttle you remove the pod also so to really make it work I used a OEM plug and cut it up Rewired it and plugs in the stock harness for the kill switch and be done...but I think you will loose the break light switch but there may be a way to connect those since the killswitch is a 6 wire to the harness....

or run a Oem throttle with a R1/R6 throttle MOD or buy an aftermarket one that will make it a quick turn throttle and keeping the OEM housing for street use...

that would be great. i could always just buy OEM type cables but i like to build in adjustability when even i can. do i lose the ignition switch with the motion pro setup? seeing one on would be huge

I'll take a few detailed pics for Ya....but the MP throttle is Smooth and def is a nice upgrade.

i would just get OEM cables and get a 05+ R1 throttle tube. it changes the turn from 1/4 to 1/5 and requires no modifications. i have it on my 02 street bike.

i also have an 06 R6 throttle tube on my race bike, which is a 1/6 turn. but that will require minor modifications to fit your OEM housing.

pigman, those pictures are great im going to do that for sure. how long did the whole proscess take you? my tank is already off and so is the airbox.

03 not sure if you can get at it like the 06 but 20-30 min max if that its real easy dont even have to pull the tank on the 06...the only suck part is doing the kill switch wires. But, if yours is similar I can give you what I know as there is 3 wires that I was concernd with..as Key power and then igintion power and the other one??lololz? and find or I might have one a Oem plug to cut up that goes into the harness and keeps it nice and clean OEM looking..
