I have a 1982 Honda CB 450 Nighthawk that has been in storage for the last four years. I removed the Carburetors and gave them a thorough cleaning. I also replaced the spark plugs, oil and fuel filter. The bike idles OK and at highway speeds seems to run good.
The problem is that it runs rough at low speeds and hesitates between 3000-4000 RPM. Also if while stopped and you bring the rpm’s to 2000 the bike sounds like its missing. You can also hear a popping sound while decelerating.
Does anyone have an ideal what the problem might be?
