Hi, the right front turn signal on my bike has stopped blinking. when you use the turn signal switch the light on the dashboard stays green, the rear turn signal blinks properly, but the right front is dead. I checked the bulb, and the bulb is fine. The wire that connects to the bulb socket is connected, but I don't have a multimeter to see if it's hot. Any ideas?

he said nothing about socket to bulb connection. the wire to socket could be fine on one end but not the other and on some the wire to carrier connection can not easily be seen. i asked about the turn signal because because i didn't know what he meant by normal. the fact that it blinks at all can be considered normal. i was just offering to help. guess it is not needed.
mine went out the other day, and it was a loose ground connection. i use male-female connectors from the directional to the factory wiring. somehow, the ground in the male connector got loose. i re-crimped it and used heat shrink around the connector & it's been fine since.
not really sure how far you are from me, but i could give you a hand over the weekend if you're still stuck
If you ask me this thread has not made any change of direction at all therefore its gone in a straight line
down hill!
Like jim said check your grounds..... the more of a chance that there is any corrosion the more likely it is that the connection could just be loose.....
trust me corrosion can fuck your shit up. I would tell the story about a guy i knew who replaced the starter in his truck and it turned out to be a bad connection with the battery, but ill refrain from telling that story because its irrelevant.....
funny but irrelevant
btw this post also helps with the intended direction of the thread.......
i am thinking you need to replace the whole wireing harness.. prolly let the smoke out of the wires some how..
seriously i agree with checking for corrotion on the ground... might be worth it to give a quick scrub to all those connections with a green scrubby

thanks for the advice y'all, i'm going to try to find a multimeter so i can find the problem.
