Battery Tender / Deltran lithium iron battery

The Monster needs a battery. I was just going to purchase the factory Yuasa but for a few bucks more I could go with Deltran Battery Tender lithium iron battery. I’ve spoken to Deltran and they said that their standard Battery Tender Junior charger will work with the battery if I don’t want to purchase their lithium charger. I’m not interested in spending more than $150 on a Shorai + additional charger.

Does anyone have any experience with this battery?

I use EarthX, which can also use a standard charger. Real two year warranty.

They all can use standard chargers, just make sure that:

A) Don't just plug it in and walk away for a month. Once it's reading charged, unplug.

B) Don't use a smarty charger that tries to de-sulfate, etc. Dumber is better in this case.

Yes, I have purchased that type of battery from Amazon for my DR650 a couple of days before a trip - needed it delivered ASAP which is why I went with Amazon Prime. I have been pretty happy with it. No complaints. It is much lighter than stock. And, i do use the standard battery tender JR on it. It seems to take longer to reach a steady state trickle light, but works.
