Tell me about a great brake pad for the street. 2012 Multistrada.
I have run EBC HH pads before and they are fine. Anything better out there I should try?
Thanks.
On my duc I stick with the stock brembo pads.

I've run EBC HH, Vesrah RJL and Carbonne Lorraine C60's on my SV... Each one was slightly better than the one before it.
Even though this is on a race bike, they all performed perfectly fine in all conditions, including cold & wet. I'd have no concerns running any of them on the street.

I have always run EBC HH on street bikes. I like the feel/feedback, they last a long time, and they stop very well.

Any street pad will do. I have never ridden on a brake pad on a street bike that I thought sucked.

Picked off a full set of EBC HH pads for the Strudel from Seacoast Sport. Adam rocks and the pricing was spot on. As usual a great customer experience.
And shipped to my door.
I really liked the lever feel of the EBC Organics over the HH pads. Good bite, and didn't have that wooden feel. The problem is they don't last nearly as long. They heat-fade easier, but never in a way that I thought would be a problem for a street rider unless you spend a lot of time in the mountains.

My cbr came with ebc hh already installed and honestly I'm not a fan, they do stop decent but the lever feel left a lot to be desired. Also when I got them hot they made a lot of noise when coming to a complete stop, I thought it was buildup in the rivets on the front rotors at first until I cleaned them out only to find they weren't dirty at all.
I just installed a set of cl xbk5 and without even bedding them in the lever feel is worlds better, from everything I have read and was told they should be perfect for my mainly street riding and couple track days a year. Now I just gotta figure out what to do with the rear, I'm not sure what's in there now but I hate them, I can literally stand on my rear brake pedal and they don't slow me at all until the next time I use it then they feel pretty good but the heat fades pretty quick, I use my rear brake probably more then most do and I can't keep enough heat in them on the street.
