Already posted this in the tuning section, but thought I might get more of a response here.

I just got my Dynojet kit and was looking through the instructions and a few questions. Just for the record I've taken apart and cleaned carbs a bunch of times.

1st question: There's instructions for race application where the low/high speed control valve is removed and the low and high speed vents are connected, what is the advantage of this? Is it bad to do this with a road bike?

2nd question: There are two small plugs that come with the kit that are supposed to be inserted in the two small hoses on the outside carbs (1 and 4). They call them deceleration circuit plugs. Do I just pull the hose off one end and stick the plug in? Does it matter which end?

I'm sure if I had the bike apart, I could figure some of this stuff out, but just got the kit, so it's on my mind. This is a 98 CBR 600 F3 with D&D slip-on and K&N air filter if that matters. Thanks.
