what world do we live in where Jim is giving people maintenance advice? and clean your chain every 300 miles???

service manual and chain cleaner bottles recommend every 300-500 miles.

and i recall installing SS lines and bleeding brakes on your friend's gixxer that came up for a track day 1-2 years ago

500 is still excessive for cleaning, IMO. I do lube street chains often though. On race bikes - I don't touch them unless I run a rain race.


I have no idea what that means.
