So my bike is in pieces because I needed tires/sprockets/chain and I took everything apart except for the front sprocket thinking no biggy I'll do it when I get my parts. Well I just got my chain and sprockets and the front sprocket is keyed for a splined shaft and was wondering if I need to buy a puller to get it off ? I'm putting her back together on sat and it would be a bummer to have to go out and buy tools.
thanks
I've never needed a puller to get a sprocket off.

Sweet, that's good news. This whole project started with a slow leak in my back tire and turned into a can of worms so I just decided to go through EVERYTHING and do some bodywork as well while I had the fairings off. I'm just trying to get things lined up so I have everything I need to put her back together as I hate unexpected complications.
make sure the bike is in neutral when you're working on the front sprocket. It helps to have someone balance the bike, and lock both brakes while you remove and replace the center bolt.
