Cheap oil?

I usually put in fresh oil in november, pour in some stabil into the gas and run it through, and leave a battery tender on it. She gets ridden all year. Rarely sits for more than a few days at a time.

I'm with you Kham, I've been a slave to the manufactured oil for years. I would really like to here from one of our mechanics here to know the real lowdown on oils. As far as what you have as far as oil, I really don't know. Who told you to use that oil? I never heard of that weight combination.

We use Rotella T6 Synthetic in many vehicles. You can buy 5 quart jugs at Wally.

I have approx 10 gallons of T6 I got with coupons. I use it in everything but new lawnmowers. Lawnmowers with a single piston ring are very sensitive to oil weight. Great for M/C's. No friction inhibitors to affect the wet clutch.
