Got a bike with a high compression engine, running race fuel. New to me is the concept of fogging in order to properly maintain the engine of the bike. What are the steps? What is the procedure? I've heard about fogging spray, marvel mystery oil? How often do you do it? What does it do? What else can I do to put the bike away for storage? Fuel stabilizer for race fuel?
don't leave race fuel in the tank. drain it after each race event. run a little pump gas through.
not too sure on the fogging oil stuff.

Fogging an Engine will lube all engine parts. You can spray it into the carburetors or the intake till it stalls or close to stalling. Then remove spark plugs and spray lube for a few sec in each hole... This is more for long time storage. Most people do it for boats. The only place I can find fogging oil is at the Marianas. Some people say it is ok to use wd40. Hope this helps...
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle
Unless you have a cast iron block or heads, or operate in salt water, I can't imagine what it would do for you.
Protect the rings?
I fog my mower and snow-blower. I pull the plug, spray some in the cylinder, replace plug, turn it over a couple times, re-connect wire, roll into shed.
