Post divorce, everyone I know with a truck and/or trailer chose "the other side", so now when the bike is dead, I'm SOL on getting it anywhere to get service/repair. Looking to find someone to do general repairs/service (no garage, tools, or mechanical knowledge here) for reasonable prices, and/or willing to transport my bike to where it can get worked on, when the occasion crops up (like now). I'm right on rte 7 in Milton. Any suggestions?
Jcbell and I live close to you, as well as markbvt. What kind of service or repairs? I don't run a shop but do all my own maintenance and could prob help you out.

Just let it be known that you have beer in your fridge - You won't be able to get rid of them... I also put a decent TV and cable in the garage - There's something to be said for watching F1 while working out there.

I have a truck, a trailer and tools. What do you need done?

Thanks for the quick replies,
Wonder of wonders, it's working again so I rode in tonight. Just a lot of petty junk and general maitenance I think...I rode it over the winter and I only have a bike cover so some things are gummy, like the rear brake. It wasn't starting yesterday and I have no idea why; put a new fully charged battery in it under two weeks ago and only rode it once since then. Only think I did different was run it through the gears off before trying to start it and it started just fine.
I don't have a place to work on it by my joint unless you count a commercial parking lot. I am somewhat embarassed to admit I have little to no knowledge of mechanical issues; changing the battery was a minor victory for me. As for beer...I don't drink myself, but always willing to contribute to the cause. I work weird hours (7p-7a, off monday, tuesday, and every other sunday night) which also makes things fun.
