So got the bike home last night.
Spent alot of the day putting the plastics back on,
refreshing the front brake fluid (Motul RBF 600),
Also cleaned the chain and gave it a full body wash
which was sorely needed after a hard and dirty winter
of intermittent riding. Now she's squeaky clean and ready for
some serious spring riding !
It sucked to have a bike that you couldn't trust.
Twice in the last month it left me stranded at work.
The thing had a short circuit in the main wiring harness
junction, and it would intermittently not run.
Derek found the issue and its rock solid now.
Probably got too much rain water and road salt up into
the front area where the cable harness junctions are and
the connections were severely corroded.
