    i wanna paint my rims like the new gsxrs have

    I hear ya. It's all opinion but I'm not a fan of that blue they use on the oem rims.
    Someone around here will squirt 'em for ya I bet though. I need mine done too so I'm gonna have to keep a good eye out in here.

    I did it on my old ass gxr750, they were purple and I painted them black just using rattle can primer and then gloss black. They looked decent but I wouldn't go that route on a new/worth alot of money bike. If you are gonna pay to take em off and do them right then I would have them powder coated as it is more durable.

    powder coat can cause issues with the metalurgy of the cast wheel if you don't use a low temp curing powder..

    just sayin.

    Why dont you have them powder coated.I have a guy in Woburn, MA. that does good work for a reasonable price.

    Rim and Wheel works in Newton..... Maybe Waltham strips and refinishes rims.
    I'm not sure what they would charge for bikes, but they have fixed a couple of car rims for me and they came out very well.
