I would not blame this on having bad oil:-) Get that bike home unless you want to be out thousands.

The bike is running now. It was just hydrolocked
and they didn't clear it out enough to know this.

No apparent damage to the rods or valves.
I'm going to pick up tonight returning lighter by several hundred bucks!
Probably mostly from the Iridium NGKs!

Well riding again in the sun will be PRICELESS!

How did the bike come to a stop? I missed that thread.
I was going to say that a bent valve probably wouldnt lead to a seizure before you noticed it running like a 1 legged dog...

Hey don't ask! Too much for what they ended up doing.
Mainly I got raped for 4 hours of diagnostic.

So question for yous... How do you clear hydrolock?
Do you have to remove the valve cover?
I'd guess I could have just drained all the oil, pulled the plugs then
do exactly what I did to hydrolock it. Which was hold it upside down
    for a couple minutes.

Its amazing how easy it is to carry around a bike with 4 guys though.
No wonder theft is so rampant!

Ask Daniel for our funny story about fixing hydrolock. Oh, and put a tarp down on your driveway.

remove all spark plugs and crank the engine over.. until it stops spraying oil all over you and everything in a 5 foot circle.
paper towel out the oil that tries to run back down the plug wells.
    reinstall plugs and reassemble

Still like my way better. With some good hooks on a well supported ceiling
no reason you couldn't just hang it up to dry!

Anyway the thing is running like a top now. Back from the dead!

No hydrolock and no more electrical issues! Dealer wanted to charge me like $200 extra for an oil change and air filter clean! I said no way. Just had to get the Mobil 1 out of the K&N and then thing can breath again.

The only problem is that I had my son (10 yr old) help me with some of the wrenching. He an eager learner right now. Just that he over torqued a bolt going into my tank gas cap and stripped it. My bad. But I nothing a Heli-Coil can't fix. I think its was good for him to learn that the hard way. I'm sure he'll strip many more in his life. Just hopefully not on my bike anymore !
