    Re: Front Stand question

According to woodcraft your sv takes a 16.5 and the 06+ gsxr takes a 15. So no it doesnt fit. Could you make it work if you really had to. I guess just need to be pretty careful.

    Re: Front Stand question

Your SV takes a 16.5mm pin. Since you didn't say which model GSX-R Bill has, here's all 3:

    600: 15mm
    750: 15mm
    1000: 13mm

So, the pins will fit in your SV's triple, but they won't be the right ones.

As a temporary solution, you should be fine (I believe Bill has a 600, so that'd be the 15mm)

Edit: Looks like James beat me to it.

I would, since the front end will be moving around while the forks are worked on.

Looks like it won't. My old-school Pit-Bull will work for you (I've got a #8 pin).

I'm F*ing off at my place in Belmont all day. Let me know if you want to drop by and pick it up. (PM)

What you don't like us anymore Sporty?

We have a loaner front stand and every pin made by WC. You can buy a WC 16.5 pin for $10 or wrap electrical tape around a 16mm.

Call me or K's cell if you want it today.

    Re: Front Stand question

When I was in a bind for a pin I used a deep socket just for a couple days. There are plenty of sizes to choose from if you have a tool set. Kinda ghetto but it worked.

I have used that before too. And while using that I found out that it didn't lift the bike high enough, so I put a few large washers around the deep well socket to get more lift.
