the hole i am repairing is only big enough to stap a safty pin through. should i drill it a little bigger so i KNOW that the weld is going to hold??? i was thinking like 1/16 or at the most a 1/8 hole...please help me

It should hold if you can cover the whole area with J.B. but that depends on where the hole is and what you are trying to acomplish.

I have done this more times than i want to admit...
Sand the paint off the area so the gas can't get between the paint and the J.B.,Take a small peice of steel, place it over the hole. Then cover the area with J.B. completley so you have "welded" the steel over your hole. That is the best method i have found. If you just J.B. over the hole it can leak.
