My buddy just bought a 2007 990 Superduke. It had been sitting and it won't start. It has a new battery, the fuel pump primes when the key is on, but it still doesn't start.
Here are the codes it's throwing:
34 - Injection Nozzle Front Cyl
49 - Idle Control Motor
06 - Throttle Sensor
07 - Sensor for Second Throttle Valve
Any help with what could be causing the non-starting condition would be appreciated, thanks.
Sounds like it's time to tear down to the airbox so you can get to and clean the IACV assembly as well as those sensors as well as checking the wiring to that injector. All those codes at once I'm wondering if a mouse gnawed on the harness in the airbox?
That's a very good possibility, I'll have to let him know, thanks. I'm sure it's going to be something small like that. I know he said the starter isn't even clicking over, so I'm wondering if there's some shorted or worn through/chewed through wire somewhere.
That, or something(s) might be unplugged. Time to open her up. Well, undress her anyways.
