Hey all...the owners manual for my bike-97 ZX900R Ninja-lists multiple oil viscosities as appropriate to use. They are10W40,10W50,20W40,20W50. My question is, as an example, can a 10W40 be mixed with a 10W50? I've never mixed, but it got my curiosity going. Could 2 of the 10W40 be mixed with 2 of the 10W50 and result in changing the viscosity unfavorably? Or even a 20W40 mixed with 20W50 for that matter.
Mixing would make it 10/45.
