Naw, have to dissagree with ya. JC rides a gixxer 6. Use non-motorcycle specific oil in it with the wet clutch and see what happens...
If you choose to, when the clutch goes.....I'll put the new one in for ya to save you labor costs...but new OEM friction and steel plates for the gixxer are over $200.
I uh, made that mistake once.
Never again.
If you like how it rides / shifts with spectro semi-synth, stick with it. I think Suzuki has a semi-synth and a full synth that are cheaper than a lot of the others.
I was heasitant to use Regular motor oil in my bike.
I'm gonna bight the bullet next week and buy some oil. I'll check the prices on the suzuki semi-synth.
Holy crap,
$6.95/qt at land air for full synthetic suzuki "racing" oil. thats cheaper than the spectro semi-synth or full synth, and cheaper that most full synth oils out there.
when i get back from vacation next week i'll be changing my oil with suzuki oil then. anyone want to come over for an oil changing party?
