My triple clicker has seemed to stiffen up immensely over the course of the season for some reason. It was fine all last year when Pete rebuilt it but after sitting the winter its pretty stiff when I take it out. Maybe like 5 or 10mm of sag and a very stiff ride. Anyone know what can cause this? I've made zero adjustments to it since the last rebuild. I'm hoping more seat time frees it up but without track time it's a slow process. If Pete was still around I would just send it to him for a rebuild but I'm loathe to let another touch it yet.
Tim @ Superbike Services 44 has been doing a super job.
Don't know if he is on here but here's the FB link

before your return to NHMS, my garage had a situation where someone changed all our settings overnight before we rolled out for practice.
i've been hearing it happen more and more at NJMP and other places, which is why i asked OP if he checked his settings before assuming the shock stiffened up.
Yeah, the settings are still the same. I'm the only one with access to the bike as well. It's been locked in my shed for the previous 8 or 9 months.
Shock bearing or linkage rusted up?
Hmmm. That's a possibility. I will have to look into that. Can't say I've ever come across that before.
