rear brake sticking

On my 01 gsxr 600, when you press down on the rear brake it stays down, could this be an issue with the master or something as simple as needing to bleed the brakes?

anyone in the Nashua area care to lend a hand? just trying to figure out whats up before i start randomly replacing pieces

Clean and or rebuild the rear brake caliper. Might be piston or slider pin.

Sticky pedal? If not, I'm with degs. Brake systems are pretty simple. Just a matter of checking everything out.

The brake lever does stay down however first impression was this was being caused by the bent rear-set, replaced with a non bent rear-set bracket and it is still sticking.

Some people like this give a bit more of a positive feel and good return...I would make sure you do fix it also..

for 15 bucks i might grab one of these, once i sort out the current issue however
