My wife has kicked her turn signals to bits, getting on and off the bike. Without pulling my wife's bike apart and getting a good look at what's back there, I ordered a Rizoma undertail and two Zero 11 LED turn signals. I guess getting a look before hand wouldn't have mattered, since you don't see the Rizoma connectors until you receive the kits.
For $35 each, I'm a little surprised by the light kits lack of adaptable connections and the total lack of directions. The diagram you are given, the resistors especially, looks nothing like the kit or the photo. And then there's a vague reference to a "Black Box" -- with no further explanation or part number... There's no way these turn signals go on without cutting into the Ducati tail section wiring and clamping on new connectors. I'm a little reluctant to cut without knowing what I'm doing.
Is there anyone that's done this?
I've put em on dual sports. The easiest way is to to west marine and get the same spades or bullets that match the ones ducati uses, and replace the flasher with a led friendly version. They have the resistors built in.
