    Turn siganl ??'s

I recently bought a set of Shock LED's for my 94' CBR 900rr that I mounted on the rear of my bike and kept the front stock lights.
Without a resistor I have a fast turn signal flash rate, this morning I mounted another set of Shock LED's on the front.

I mounted the right signal first and with the left front stock signal still hooked up they worked fine albeit w/a fast flash.

I mounted the left signal and I have nothing, no front no rear. I reattach the right front w/the stock signal and it works fine along w/the left LED?

I guess I did not speel check my title

Negative, I believe the porblem is the running light. The factory lights are three wire the Shock LED's are two wire, maybe the running light wire is creating a open circuit?

Okay I give up, it's two freaking wires and I cannot figure it out. The LED's will light up with the "marker light" wire but, will not flash?

    Anyone?

You need to have resistors in front and back in order for the LED blinkers to work. Or the easier method is to get a flasher relay for LED's. Here is a link to what I am talking about.

Isn't the electronic flasher for the speed of the "flash rate"? When I hook up my front LED's I have nothing?

If I'm not mistaken, on some of the Hondas the front signals function by shutting one element off (the running light) and flashing the other when the signal is activated.

If you have two leads from the aftermarket signal then what I'd do is to find your signal ground on the bike and isolate that first. Take the two remaining leads on the bike and find voltage (using the ground lead) when the signal is not activated. That is your running light. Next, initiate the signal and test the remaining lead to ensure it's the flashing lead. The rest should be easy to figger out.

Had the same problem running 2 wire blinkers on the fzr, took me about a half hour of hair pulling, but got it done. As for the fast blink that won't hurt anything, but if you want to fix it just run a resistor. Good luck.
