Silicon Gasket Expiration?

Found a good deal on some ThreeBond 1207B and grabbed a few tubes. Turns out expiration is 2017-10... I'm assuming by 2017-11 it'll still work fine but idea realistically on when you might actually want to throw it away? I've never seen an expiration date on silicone gasket maker (probably because I was using the shitty kind...)

Well I did some reading and apparently expired gasket maker tends to never cure..

Thinking back now I had this exact problem last month with a cheaper tube, it stayed goopy and after a few days I had to replace it. Was a real mess. The tube was definitely a few years old, makes sense now.. maybe those expiration dates are worth paying attention to.
