I was wondering if anyone with some experience installing the DynoJet Quickshifter could chime in on this issue I am having. I pulled the PC5+QS (03 1000) from a different bike to install on my 02 600. The wiring was identical so it was simple plug and play.
While the PC5 is working fine, the sensitivity of the QS (push type) isn't perfect. It requires a really hard kick to engage and even then it doesn't always work. I am pretty sure it's just a matter of configuring the length of the Shift Rod and having the sensor parallel with the knuckle to make the most leverage to engage the sensor. I've tried pretty much every combination possible and it's still not working correctly. I did test the sensor (and briefly got the quickshifting to work) so I know it's functioning correctly. I know the sensor needs to be horizontally located on this particular bike but I just can't find any documentation that details the positioning of the spline clamp or the length of the shift rod (I have the DynoJet B Shift Rod). Any ideas? It was working completely fine on the previous bike.

You sure they are the same parts and part numbers from DynoJet? And check the kill times as they may be off. There is some info on the WERA boards that may help also
