Need help, leaving for track days tomorrow.
SV guys who have swapped some... I am tring to go from stockers to DP HH+ pads but they don't look at all the same and I have tried both sets on the right hand side caliper and can't get either to under the "guide tab" (no clue what real name is) on the upper side of the caliper that holds the pads in place. Do these look right? What am I missing? More than one I have upgraded something and it gies in differently than stock and I fail to figure it out, I am a crappy mechanic at figuring out new stuff it seems.

pretty sure you have the wrong pads
Yeah, I missed the shop as they were closed before I got on the horn at 5:30. I think they are the same though as the only thing different in the shop's own labels but those numbers and even the brand don't match the actual packages. I figured it was just a distributor name or something but I will give up on these and return them. I think I have enough of the stock pad to get through 2 track days, braking will stink but at least it was consistantly crappy before. My new stainless lines and higher temp fluid will hopefully help out some too.
Thanks for taking al look to everyone who did.

Yeah definitely the wrong ones. If you have an 06 sv but bought 08 brake pads its possible it has something do wtih the the ABS set up on the newer sv's?? maybe.

Following up on old stuff...
They were the wrong pads and the shop got me the right ones super quick. I finally tried them out last week and wow! So much less effort to haul the SV down from speed. They are great!
