I have a leak in my rear tire and while they passed inspection I'll need a new one soon enough and I'm all set with plugs. I searched like a bastard so you gotta give me some credit and I think the plan is to buy some tires via interweb and give Jim in manch a call to mount and balance. Someone suggested tireexpress in another thread so i poked around and this is what I found. Comments and suggestions much appreciated, sucks knowing dick about bikes but I'm trying like hell.
thanks
eta I'm running dulnop d208's and would like something as good if not better

Sooo what's the question?
Buy a new tire (or two) or get a PROPER patch/plug kit that patches & plugs the tire from the inside.

well either spend $300 on new tires, or spend $0 and plug it
depends if it's worth risking having the plug give when you're riding it. wasnt worth it to me, so i replaced my tire.
Michelin Pilot Power will grab better than your Dunlops. Save the $10 and dont get the 2CT ones
thanks guys, I had jim take care of the patch for me in manch that will get me by until I grab a new set in a week or so.

ya want the Stop & Go Tire plug gun kit. (49.95 at Whitehorse Gear - Stop and Go Tubeless Tire Plug Gun Kit)
A veteran member here, Rye, suggested that one to me a couple years ago.. I didn't get a chance to use it, but he's used those with great success & he's definitely a person I trust.

For street tires the Pirellis always worked for me.

That's not a bad idea. I checked the calender and the next trackday is this wednesday but I'm working during the day do you know how late they sell tires?
eta another stupid question
I have 180-55-17 120-70-17 tires I have noticed some people go up one size but is there anything to gain by doing that?
+1, stick w/ that combo.

Sounds like a plan but I thought I should ask, this is my second bike but my first new set of tires.
