Finally felt good on the R6.
Been trying too hard and running 20's for a while now, feeling like I was on the ragged edge and really forcing the bike around. Saturday was the same.
Made some major changes to the bike saturday evening, got them dialed in sunday morning via some clicks and turns, and went out for Sunday's race and went for it.
Sunday race 4 All 19's and a new PB of 19.1
And I felt very controlled and smooth doing it, the 18s are in the bag I think.
There are a couple guys doing 17s and 18s that I want to try to hang with next round. On sunday one of them (Seth) got by me and I tried to hang with him, then he crashed in 11 (you ok Seth? there was dust and cones everywhere... I had to check up pretty good haha) and I didn't have that carrot out front and the couple front guys (15s and 16s) had checked out so I cruised to a 4th place finish.
A couple things to work on:
More aggression into T1 on the starts. I usually get very good starts but back off a bit going into T1 in the melee.
Some right turns... still not quite carrying the right turn cornerspeed that I am in lefts (I think, based on tire wear and knee dragging)... t3, t8, and t10 I need to up my entry speed and go for it, I know the bike will stick.

Nice Chris, glad to hear your getting comfortable on the bike. Sorry for the mess in 11!
Thanks guys... it makes such a difference to feel good out there... I've had enough frustration for about a year now, finally getting comfortable has made me fall in love with racing all over again.

Just glad you're alright... I was like "damn now I can't try to chase" haha

Nice job with the P.B, I knew you could drop into the teens no problem. 18's are in the bag now. A little confidence goes a long way!
