Raced the R6 in the rain on Saturday... sliding that bitch all over the place. Had a funny story for HWSS, I posted it up here (http://www.nestreetriders.com/forum/...tml#post801656).
GTO 2nd place
HWSS 3rd place
Raced dennos motard on sunday since he wasn't there and mine blew up in round 7. Had some serious brake issues in both races, I think the fluid was boiling after a couple laps or there is air getting into the system somehow, a couple laps in all of a sudden the lever goes to my knuckle, then as it heated up it would start to grab... with that variability/lack in initial bite I couldn't late brake worth a shit. Tried bleeding between Motard and LWSM and it still did it again halfway through LWSM. With properly functioning brakes I could easily have consistent 22's all day long. Got a very low 23 with mushy vague brakes regardless.
Motard 3rd place
LWSM 3rd place
Yeah, 4 races, 4 podiums. Nice way to finish the year. And a rookie year total of over 600 points, getting at least one podium every weekend.
Now it's hibernation time![]()

I guess we will find out at the banquet!
Luckily in LWSM the issue didn't pop up until half a lap after I passed Jackie for 3rd, and was able to hold her off to stay on the rostrum. But yes, unsettling to say the least. Still was going pretty good, his tard is quick. But I would basically just pull the lever hard to the bar and wait for it to heat up and start grabbing, while taking an extra downshift to try to engine brake. fuckin sketchhhh lol
I am like Kerri Strug, but with less injected testosterone

Were you on Denno's bike for the Motard Race?

It's not the MC (at least not totally). I replaced mine with the KTM Hard Parts MC (the $600 Beringer bit) and it was better, but not completely gone. Buy the Brembo caliper (something like $300 from QTM) and a Brembo Radial MC and you have the ultimate setup.

another option is Braking. I have a Braking 16mm master and Caliper combo and I loooove my front brake feel.

Thanks Denny.
That's fucked... you could easily drop 2 seconds without changing riding technique at all just with some real brakes.
It wept oil lightly, appeared to be less than what I'd seen it doing to you in the past.
Good thing denno is employed and made of money...![]()
