So I barely got the bike back together for this round with a bearing coming from PK Saturday morning and the painter getting me the stuff on Wednesday. I came into this round with a new front end after Kates straightened it and put a 25mm kit in the front. :giggity
GTU: Got a pretty good start and was on my way up the hill when I lost all power. The bike literally sounded like a crossplane R1. I put my hand up and rolled around and pitted in. When I pitted in the bike seemed to run fine again, but I wasn't going to go out with a bike that had the potential to not run right and risk an accident from the huge speed differential. With the help of teammates and friends we pulled the power commander off as I was only using it for a quickshifter. There wasn't much we could do to test it, but hopefully that would solve the problem, as the bike had run great in practice.
MWGP: I went out there and really did not ever feel comfortable. My lines were not smooth, was concentrating on things that are normally second nature, I was second guessing and moving brake markers back, etc. Ran laps with times in the 17's and 18's. Meh. 17 out of 23. Glenn Coolbeth finished right behind me on his SV650 haha. And I also rolled on too much over the transitions coming out of T10 and picked up extra speed...only to freak the eff out and not jump the curb on the outside of the entrance to T11...but go for a ride in the dirt lol. Luckily I kept it up.
MWSS: I was into this a little more mentally, but still was not up to par. Ran behind Tim Barber for most of the race and finally got around him and gapped out pretty good. Finished 10th out of 20. Still in the 17's and 18's though.
Next round I will have my SS motor in and the bike should be finished. Breaking it in on the Dyno on the 5th. Have a plan in place to hopefully clear my head for next round. Thanks to all my sponsors for helping me to get the bike back together. Huge thanks to Kevin for getting my bodywork painted on such short notice and providing paint after mine had some play time in my motorcycle sidecase...
Also thanks to the team for all their support and friends at the track!
And thanks to Arcy for at least making me look good haha.

Hahah only if the two retards remember to put fresh rubber on for the race. Last year Christian and I were the only two people out there with shagged tires at the start of the race. I didnt even think about it until we were on pre-grid and I saw all those nice shiny new stickers.
