06/07 600/700 rear master cylinder - thanks degs
I got one, but the tab for the stop is sheered off almost completely
so?
so yes/no on the lower with broken tab?
ill take some pics for ya tomorrow...
off the frame or off the triple? or both??
I assumed since a triple would fix ya, it was just off the triple. You can just use a small piece of 1/8"-1/4" aluminum... drill 2 through holes, drill and tap 2 holes with same spacing on your lower triple (where the old one used to be).
Drill and tp a 3rd hole on this piece of aluminum, screw the bracket to the triple, screw the slider of the damper to the bracket.
no?
just sayin... cheaper route that will work just as well. If you dont want to tap, you can go with 1/8" steel plate, and just usee machine screwes with locknuts for all 3 mounting points.
the lower triple mounting tab (left side) is ground off. if i was in a pinch up at Loudon, i'd maybe try the drill & tap fix. but where I have the bike in a garage and not needed to be fixed for a practice/race the next day, i'd rather go the OEM route.
You could also try having the tricky one weld on a tab if nothing else comes up.
