I only have advice. What size/age child? Hiking or everyday carry?

19 mo 27 lbs occasional hiking, primarily when he gets tired and won't walk on his own.

We used a Kelty, can't remember the model now, but the hip belt really helps with hauling the bigger kids. For smaller babies, the Ergo carrier is great. Both have been given to someone else to use, sorry.
