Anyone have a gen2 sv650 tank? Rearsets?

Putting together a bike for John summers (if anyone else knows him from nemrr) I have everything for the most part and I have started assembly. In still missing a gas tank and rear sets though. Not looking for the world's cleanest gas tank just something to hold gas. I have a pump and everything so just looking for a tank. Also I might have to just bite the bullet and buy a set of vortex rear sets new but God knows he is going to crash the hell out of this thing so I'm hoping to save a few bucks and find something alittle used. Anyone have a vortex or woodcraft set lying around? Thanks again for any help.

Let me take a look at my spare tank... I've got one that's a little banged up but plenty serviceable and cheap. I ran it in its current condition for a couple years till I found a freshie & painted it up.

Ain't pretty but the price would be right (whatever he's willing to pay)

Okay, it's in my garage. No pump or gas cap and it's not the prettiest but I'm guessing you'll get it painted at some point. A little dented by that gravel peppered ECK and the Riding In The Zone sticker,s but it is 1000% structurally sound and ready to rock as is if you don't have time to pretty it up.

Price is... honestly... whatever you guys think it's worth. A day of daycare, a box of diapers, bottle of Scotch, a handy. Whatever.




EDIT: I don't have another fuel pump, but I do have a minty Vortex V3 Fuel Cap that's on another tank... I wasn't planning on getting rid of that, but money talks.

I'm about to head out of town for ~2 weeks, but I can check when I'm back. If I do have some, they're likely no-name eBay Chinesium (I crashed a lot).

I was gifted some gsxr rear sets that I am checking this weekend if I can kind of splice together with some sv spares to make something that works. Still very in need of a tank of anyone has one. I have this bike but also 2 others to finish before the season and time is starting to creep up

Are the tanks generation-specific?

On FB Marketplace there is a clam of a 2003 in VT, seller asking 500. There's also someone parting out a 2001 in NY state.

Is the fuel tank situation sorted? I found one on Marketplace that's in very good condition from a part out. Seller is asking 175.
I'm willing to bet that price can be worked down a bit more
