Race bodywork for 03 sv650

If anyones looking to get rid of some bodywork. I just want something functional. I don't really care if it needs some tlc here and there just want it to work. Lemme know.

Have you searched any of the other forums? I just picked up a set of Sharkskinz that were already painted. NEVER USED! for a a great price.

I did a quick search of my "secret places" and found 3 sets for sale. Although they weren't cheap. Duncanmoto had a set for sale early this year. Don't know if he still has them.

Check out Duncanmoto. I think he has (had?) a set of armorbodies.

Haha why you'll find about me is that I'm not cheap. I just dislike waste. I have no problem droppin 2k+ at gmd to set the bike up right. I do have a problem spending a few hundred more for what, less cracks? I don't mind a little elbow grease and an ugly bike haha. In fact I'm looking forward to having one ugly ass bike. Function over form for me always :-)

You're not limited to Sv bodywork. Gsxr bodywork will fit with some work. Others may fit also like R6. Tricky mike had a set of gsxr 1k bodywork for sale. He may still have it.

Thank you for reminding me about this. I had read that a while ago then the add kicked in and I forgot it. Don't I need a specific upper fairing stay though?

You can make your own.

I've also had good luck with a gptech stay. The ears are removable and using AL tubing from home depot I cut to length to make the upper fit.

When I first bought my SV it had Ducati body work on it with a homemade stay. You can make anything work with a little tinkering.

That musta been zevs old bike. The old 748/916/996/998 uppers would work. Not sure about lowers but I don't see why not.
Eric connolly (pps216 I think) has gsxr bodywork on his Sv. Took some fabbing though.

Rick Doucette had put this bike together. I had to trim the lower a bit as it was a little tight around the exhaust. I've seen Erics bike... It's sweet.

I may have a set of 1st gen for sale. I talked to Landric's and the rattle can stuff I put down won't hold primer after being roughed up. It's bubbling beyond belief.

So, it looks like it may cost less to just get a new set and have that painted.

not painted and I don't think it has ever been mounted. It came as a spare when I bought the bike. I posted some pics on here somewhere. I will look for em.
