In the process of building a 91 fzr up and its killing me that I can't get it done in time to even ride this fall
i have 800-1000 to spend (ya i know thats not much) Any kind of Yamaha Suzuki Kawi or whacked out late 80s early 90s top gun type style is how I get down
I know it might be a pain in the ass to mention but:
Its gotta run/ride without too many problems, i dont care about rash or minor dings im gonna rat it out anyway
I just want an old school bike that I can put a few miles on in the fall and while Im piecing together my other bike. Any other ideas about some wheels that would get the job done would be appreciated.
Thanks a lot guys

thanks man
hopefully I can get a response, that is EXACTLY what I'm looking for to be that younger guy that looks like he fell out of an 80's movie and is cool with it
put s steering stabilizer on it - trust me (if its anything like the 85 model)
still looking guys
im pretty much stuck trying to piece together the FZR to at least ride it in the fall until I find something ridable soon
that bike is gorgeous dude
im kicking myself in the ass for tearing her all apart now .. only thing i need is a clutch and possibly a stater (battery is doing the raw egg mambo on me)
its still going to look like a fizzer but just a little different .. or maybe i could find an early 90s bike before the summer ends .. if not .. Next year we ride with ray-bans and bright green fluorescent jackets with converse to match
ok, I'll ask my buddy if he has any parts...I bought 3 buckets of used parts before but just gave them all away to my buddy after getting sick of housing all of it, but otherwise, have you scoured fleabay?
Ive tried to hunt around ebay but I mostly see used bikes that are thrashed to hell and back. This build has taken so long because I want to do it perfectly and not have this ratty POS squeaking around I just need more $$$$ and a decent place to start wrenching
love the way your bike looks but im stuck with a monster version of it since the kid that sold it to me pretty much rode it like a donkey
thanks for the help though .. this clutch is going to be interesting .. never tackled one on a bike before
not sure about the quality, but he says the fairings are on it and maybe it's worth looking at
