If your time is free, you will be better off to buy one from Harbor Freight. In my experience, the cheap trailers on Craigslist etc. are more expensive than a new HF trailer and they are almost always shittier and in bad condition.

I have a small single rail trailer that could use some sanding and paint and a new taillight bulb or 2. if you are handy with a welder one of the wheel fenders is in rough shape. $200 can send pics if you are interested.

Good tips guys, with 2 boys in tow I barely have time to get to the track. So I would only be interested in an already functional/registered trailer.

I just bought a truck so I don't have much need for this. I towed it behind my car. Trailer is rated for 2,000 pounds. It's a 5X8 Carry On with the Lowes branding. I added pressure treated decking, some d rings and regreased the bearings when I got it. It will tow at 80 with a Tiger sitting on it and the bearings are barely warm to the touch.
I was going to list it on Craigslist when things slowed down for me. $500 and it's yours.
