They come up pretty regularly on Weraclassifieds.com.
and are sold just as fast....
These days it is better to go directly to the company and get a new one on their flex plan...

$220 for 5 years that's not bad at all....can we use that as a regular lap timer? Anyone know?

I would assume that NJMP uses the same, or similar timing system for racing. Someone will surely chime in and give an accurate answer. I'd be very surprised if the guys that do a little racing at NJMP have a separate transponder for a different track.
But my original answer was in jest. This is not a personal lap timer. Its a race transponder just like what you use in LRRS.

Jersey uses westhold.
I know about the transponder, but it would just had been a lot easier if they were combined. Worth a try lol

Pretty sure all CCS used the MyLaps until a couple years ago, now only Loudon use them.
I 2nd Wera. I see them pop up there all the time. Just make sure if its rechargable that it has a good battery. The number of flashes is the number of days it will stay charged. You want 3-4 flashes, otherwise you'll probably have to replace the battery and it's not cheap.

Also, a little off topic, but what the heck, you posted your thread in the wrong section anyways.
As a new racer to LRRS, you get a free transponder and garage to use for the first weekend. You can rent the transponder for a little while after that in NH, too.

Ok, now I'm confused.
Graham's link brings you to a transponder that has a 1 year subscription of $92.
But If I go to the bike flex model directly from their site, it says it's $153 for the year.
What am I missing?
EDIT: I see it now. $92 is a subscription renewal if you already possess the unit. $153 is a year's worth of service INCLUDING the actual transponder unit and charging system.

First three races are half off. You rent a transponder for a weekend, not per race.
