I have to chime in and say that the Dunlop GPA and the Dunlop NTECS are not even remotely close to the same tire. I started last season on the GPA's and then went to NTECS. The shape of the tire and the grip and stability are night and day. I hate the GPA's and struggled with them....the NTECs are just awesome!
...The GPA's were made to be the AMA "spec" tire. Dunlop had to make a large amount of these tires with the lowest cost...they are really inferior to the higher engineered (and higher priced) NTEC's that aren't allowed in AMA to help keep costs down for teams.
