So I bought an hjc fs15 helmet a month ago on closeout. When it came in it was defective and had to be sent back. Unfortunately they are now sold out. However I now have a 125$ credit and there are a bunch of other helmets on closeout now including a bunch of bell star helmets. I've heard good things about them lately but was wondering if any of you have had any experience with them and what your impressions were.

Where did I get the helmet from? Www.MOTORCYCLECLOSEOUTS.COM
I have a star and despite the fact that it doesen't fit me, it's well crafted and flows air amazingly well. Probably the most venting helmet I've ever owned.
bell star i've heard is a great helmet.....will pick one up myself ,the reviews are all excellent....checkout sportbiketrackgear.com for one of the many reviews.
the bell vortex isnt a slouch either for its price......plus, you are sure you will get a 2010 model snell cert and everything.......i inquired about the bell star at motorcycle closeout.com and they said the ones they have where manufactured in 08....

I have had a Bell Star for about 1 year now. Best fitting helmet I have had (personal choice of course.) Venting is excellent. A tad noisy as well, but a minor point. I use it for sport riding and touring. And the ear pockets fit well, including a wired comm set with speakers in the ear cavities. When riding sport bikes (w/o comm cable) I am not even aware that the speakers and connector cable are there.
Anyway, for my riding and fit, this helmet was a big win for me.
Highly recommended.
I do plan to by a second visor to complement the clear visor.
