So, I've come to the conclusion that it's going to be far less hassle for me to drive 35 miles to Nault's Manch for certain Honda parts rather than dealing with the shit over at Best Cycle Center in Nashua, NH.
Order #1 - Ordered on a Saturday. Supposed to be in on the following Friday. Didn't happen. Tracking even showed the parts to arrive on this certain Friday. Got my parts on the following Monday with the parts guy telling me to make sure I talk to him and he'll hook me up as a result of me having to wait. I think to myself "Yeah right!"
Order #2 - Was told if I ordered parts before 2pm on Tuesday, they'd arrive on Friday. Order my parts before 2pm on Tuesday and discovered that I wasn't going to get any of the hook up I was promised. Awesome. So Friday arrives, no call. Saturday, no call. Sunday, closed. Call today and low and behold my order arrived on Friday! Goodie fricken gumdrops!! I'm very pleased to know I lost yet another weekend waiting for parts from these hacks. Not only that but apparently when I was visiting the Bermuda Triangle on Friday, they called me to let me know my parts had arrived yet, when I picked it up, nothing was written on any of my paperwork which would back that statement up.
Anyway, as I make my way into the parts dept, I approach the counter just in time for one of the parts guys to toss a Parts Unlimited book on the counter in front of a customer as he says "You know what will be easier?" as the book lands on the counter. That's what I call pretty sweet customer service or too fucking lazy to do the job yourself.
Hacks. My engine has been apart for 2 weeks longer than originally planned and one of those weeks is directly due to this poor excuse for a Honda dealership.
What's amazing is I've had nothing but great experiences with the Ford part of this Hack-stablishment.
Go figure.

I do not know or heard of them. Nault's I heard of. And they support racing. Anyway I hope you feel better getting it off your chest. Hopefully they pull through soon and after that you just do not go back.
Not posting to get it off my chest, posting for informational experience purposes.
I like to think places can change after 10 years and a new building. Boy was I wrong!
I have my parts now and mark my words, I will never buy anything motorcycle-related from that place again.
Like I said, much praise for the Ford service and parts dept's but the motorcycle dealership leaves something to be desired.
i have been in there a quite a few times, just grabbing some over the counter crap so i was in and out or just killing time looking at bikes, never ordered any parts from them so i cant judge that aspect. As for the "hookup" i had the same situation. Started talking about racing etc with the parts guy, told me come in whenever he was there and he would hook me up, next time i walked thru the door, it was like he never seen me before. so no hookup.
i have never had any kind of luck with them, they are overpriced and never seem very friendly. I go another 3 miles up the street and go to RJ's Motorsports and they are always one of the cheapest places to get parts from, they can (or have in the past) get anything for any bike, and they are always cool to deal with.
+1
I've had nothing but bad luck with Best and refuse to ever step foot in the place anymore.

I also hate them. I walked in and was going to buy a leftover Ninja earlier this year. Some sales lady attacked me like a pitbull. She would not leave me alone even once I told her that naults Windham was cheaper. She tried to tell me that the blue was a chick magnet (while I had my fiance with me). Naults had the blue, Black and the monster ZX6R cheaper than them. They had nothing out on the showroom either. I felt like I was shopping in someones house/garage with the most annoying girl ever.
Oh and i wanted to see a new FZ6R while I was there as i once had a FZ6. She told me it would not be fast enough and it was a girls bike. What a douche. /end rant
Stealerships SUCK BALLS.....well there are a Few good ones Most are filled with Wanabe riders that have no idea what they are selling....
My own experience with them (quoted from the thread Degsy started asking about Best Cycle awhile back: http://www.nestreetriders.com/forum/...ence-them.html):
I just checked, and that SV1000S is still listed on their site as a leftover. Go figure. Still no sign of the mythical SV750 though...
You should have jumped on the sv750 it's gonna be a collector
It's very tough to weed out the shitty/over priced dealerships from the few good ones.
I just bought stuff from one for the last time. I picked up 2 oil filters and a bottle of yamaha ring free fuel cleaner. Shame on me for not hearing the total correctly and just swiping my card. Thought he said 36. Got home and looked at the receipt and it was 56. 15 a piece for the filters and 25 for the ring free, even better was the 20 price tag on the bottle.
I know you pay more for the shops over head. But that has to be way over the acceptable 15%

That sucks.
In other news, the thread title reminds me of:

I experienced similar scenario to what you described in "Order #2" with them. For me it was with a rear tire. I got a flat on Monday evening and showed up on Tuesday where they gave me the same promise. "If you order it by 2PM on Tuesday it will arrive on Friday". The difference is they promised they could then mount the tire for me on Friday so I would have the bike by the weekend. They were waaaaay more expensive than anyone else but since they were the only ones who could promise I would have the bike by the weekend I decided to go with them. The logic was the extra money was justified by getting the bike in time for the weekend (it was spring and I was itching to ride real bad).
Well, the tire didn't come in on Friday, so I didn't get the bike for the weekend, it came in the following Tuesday. Then they told me they couldn't mount it right away. Finally on Friday evening they call me telling me its ready. This was exactly one week later than they originally promised.
The sad part is when they originally quoted me a price I said they were too high and the service guy actually said "we can have it done before the weekend" as a response to me objecting to the price. This was the sole reason why I gave them my business. If I knew they were going to be a week later I would have gone someplace a lot cheaper and saved literally about $150.
The fact that they were so far off on the arrival date of the tire, along with the fact that they couldn't mount it til days later leads me to believe they were lying from the beginning. The other strange thing is the time line that actually took place was very similar to what the other places in the area described to me when I inquired with them.
