Anyone ever purchase from Leather up.com.
I am tempted, but it seems like one of those to good to be true deals.
Most of the stuff is some brand I have never heard of. I wonder if they make jackets for other brands and this is there in house no advertising gear.
It looks pretty good, all the reviews are positive and the prices are really good.
Any one know about them?
As broke as I am I may just take a gamble. For $220.00 I could get a leather jacket, gloves and boots.
I guess even if it sucks I could resell it.

I didn't look that far into it but as long as the leather is kinda think 1.3-1.5mm, and the seams are stitched well, I wouldn't think it would be that bad of a deal. i'll have to look more into it tomorrow.

never heard of them, that alone usually makes me a lil nervous. if theyre selling no name leather at too good to be true prices, maybe it is

I ordered a different jacket from them last summer when I started riding again....wasn't really sure what I wanted so I went cheap. For the price I can't really complain, the jacket has held up well. But you might notice things like cheap zippers and buttons, or poor stitching in the liner. Basically, you get what you pay for.

That sounds like what I expect. I have nice text suit for summer, I perfer leather when it is not so hot, I just am tight right now, or more exactly my finaces have come under intense scrutiny in the bike arena by the ball and chain.
Not for no good reason mind you!!

I'm not going to lie to you here.... I work at Vanson Leathers. I can see quality and protection in other peoples goods - not these guys though. You can find other alternatives that fit your budget that will be better. I can't do that for you but I would tell you not to buy sight unseen.

The thing that I noticed that would make me question is their description of the jacket....most places will put the thickness of the leather on there, and these guys just say "high quality". I don't know much, but I'd want to touch it and check it out before buying.

I bought boots from them for an old bf, and they've been holding up well. But with that sort of thing you don't know its true quality until there's a crash... but the boots looked and felt legit enough, they've survived a couple of seasons with little wear, he's been happy with them

My sarcasm escaped you, my b...... I wear Oxtar or Alpinestars boots myself, everytime.
