June 8 - Update to my last posts: When I called last week I was told that it has been sent to production. Should get back to me in a week or two.

June 24 - They didn't call so I called today - Still in production, production is shut down this week. Will try to get them next week

The continuing saga of trying to get custom pants from Vanson. Today's episode...

On July 9 Nichole called me to tell me that my order was ready and they would ship it tomorrow. YIPIE! She knew that the address that I had given at the time of the order was no longer correct and she needed to get the new address (+1)

Today, July 20... well, still no pants. Figured that by now I needed to call again. Two calls later I finally got someone.

What is the status of my order... Finished, would you like the tracking #?
Um, where did you ship it? ... Uh, ### Rhode island
ARRG! I moved from there in May! Nichole called and got the right address, how did you do that? ... You need to call tomorrow and talk to Nichole.

So, my pants are either in suspended animation in the shipping company system, or they have been sitting outside of a vacant house in Jamestown for a week!

There are a couple of more things I want to get made, and I agree with everyone on Vanson's quality, but come on people. Maybe I don't understand their business model, but in my world Vanson needs to either fire some people for incompetence, or hire some more people to handle the work load.


Update, July 24 - Britches arrived today. As expected they fit great, I cant wait to get out and break them in.
