Went to Vanson today. Kim spent alot to time answering my questions and measuring me up in alot of areas. Great customer service. Now I am waiting for the price quote.

Overall happy but NO POCKETS I git a race suit in black so as not to attract attention but there are zero pockets WTF

Also they promised 8 weeks but took 18 even with almost daily calls and actually I don't think I would have got it then except I lied and said I had to start my racing season

it's a RACING suit and you want pockets? racing suits don't have pockets, street suits do.

Getting Technical Sport Rider Pants and Mak 2 lightning reflective both with GP armor, non perf because I ride in cold weather as well. Venting zipper on arm and back. Thinking about white upper on jacket to help reflect some heat in the summer as well as trying to stand out to cage drivers not paying attention.

I am not saying Vanson did anything wrong just they could have mentioned it to me which they did not.

I have to carry my small tank bag as a purse (euro bag :ghey)

I have perf with fabric crotch etc. I fear the heat more than the cold

This is scaring me as a buddy cancelled an order after a several months overrun back when we had an economy. But perhaps now they're not so busy.

I think thats an understatement. I did this to a motorcycle and was on track 1.5 hours later to race. On a different bike of course.

They are not fast. Id order asap. I had to keep calling and I got it at the track about 30min before first practice. Luckily it was a custom suit and it fit perfect.

I was told I would get an E-mail about the cost in a week and it would take them four to five months to finish them.

I recieved a phone call at 630pm on 12/4/10. One hour after Vanson closed. The phone call was from Kim she just wanted to finish up some loose end at work. She and Vanson have my respect. I have placed my order for my new leathers.

+1 I recently had mine custom made.

They are not fast and the communication is often poor.

However, they make the best suits around. The quality is top notch... it's an investment.

I told Kim that I do track days and ride the street. I do have a another suit just not a Vanson and I could use that till I get mine done. I think they will have them done by next riding season tho.

I'm also placing a Vanson order this winter. I had purchased 2 different sizes in A* suits and one was too small, one was too big. Instead of getting them altered or wearing an ill-fitting suit, I decided to get a custom fitted one.

I got measured at a shop near work and am just waiting to hear back form them that all is good with the measurements they took. I still need to figure out how i want it to be designed, though I dont need anything fancy

My wife and I drove to Vanson it took us 2 hours from Western Ma to get there. I figured if I am going to but a Vanson suit I am going to go there to get sized up. I am not disapointed on taking 6 hours of my time on a saturday to buy a suit that is made for me and will protect me if I have a crash.

I went with a company on the other side of the country for my suit but I agree with you. if you're gonna spend that kind of money and have chosen Vanson and you're within a few hours, its probably worth it to go down there.

I was measured and numbers sent to Vanson. I had no problems.
