tire suggestions

im looking for suggestions for new tires. the tires on my 2000 R1 are about done and i need new ones. The last 2 sets were Metzelr M1 Sportecs. I have no complaints with them and am willing to get them again, but I was thinking of trying something new. so im asking for your suggestions again.

Obviously, I live in New England, and it is going to start getting cold soon, so I need something that heats up relatively quickly and gets good and sticky even on cold days. Ive heard good things about Avon and Pirrelli. I was trying to stay away from Michelin but some people are recommending the new Pilot Powers.

So please post up your suggestions!

I love my Pilot Sports, and you can get them cheap on closeout many places since the newer Pilot Powers are coming out.

I swear by the pilot sports, I'll have to check out these pilot powers next, I also want to test the pirrellis I heard something a while back about a 190 with a profile like the 180's.

I sold out of Pilot Sports in 180 and 190.

I have Pilot Powers in all sizes EXCEPT 170. This size will not be produced until maybe October.
