Zarco may feel indebted to Ducati - they gave him a ride after his disaster at KTM
That was an awesome race. Excitement start to finish. I would love to see Jack get the W in Phillip Island.

I was finally able to watch the last few races, very compelling championship race but the actual races themselves I dunno, seems lacking a bit? Maybe my expectations are unrealistic as I've been following moto2 and moto3 more this year...
I also binged the WSBK season and it's interesting, the racing in that series appears to be more on the "ragged edge"?? Maybe it's placebo because those bikes look more like a street bike I could throw a leg over, but if I had to guess an actual reason for it I'd venture it's mostly a matter of better electronics on the GP bikes? I looked it up and the lap times were much closer to MotoGP times than I assumed, 2-3 seconds a lap down if I remember correctly, that impressed me. And boy, Toprak brakes so much later than the other guys it's simply amazing.

That was the best race in several years. Incredible.

Three thumbs and one cock up. Holy shit that was a fantastic race.
I watched EVERYTHING yesterday while Sylwia was away on a big group ride... FP1, 2, 3, 4, Q1, Q2 and the race... Told her a little bit about how insanely awesome the race was & now we're gonna watch it again together.
I'm not a FQ20 fan, but I am definitely a "tight championship race" fan so I was bummed when he crashed out. He's imploding and it's a bummer to watch. We'll see if he rebounds next round, but I think the pressure is just too much for him. I think he lost it and will have to regroup next year... the question is, will Yamaha regroup and give him a bike that can compete?

Agreed, fantastic race. I'm not as down on FQ, since Ducati has figured out their 22 bike the Yamaha is clearly too slow. Fabio has to ride over the limit to try and keep them all (Bagnaia, Miller, Martin, Bastianini, and now even Marini and Bezzechi) in sight
If I were rich, I'd buy Suzuki's entire MotoGP effort, bring back all the engineers/techs and call it TeamJimV racing. That'd be fun
Best race of the year hands down! Rins out of no wear so cool for him and Suzuki to bad there not a motorcycle company anymore? Miller torpedoed by Alex was some scary shit. both were lucky to walk away. Fabio is riding way over his head to keep the Yamaha up front and it's catching up with him. last two races should be awesome.
Half a billion should cover it!I were rich, I'd buy Suzuki's entire MotoGP effort, bring back all the engineers/techs and call it TeamJimV racing. That'd be fun

Fabio was riding his pants off, but no matter how you shake it, his bike is underpowered.
Glad to see Bastianini giving Pecco a hard time.

Not a huge / hardcore fan like you guys, but i've found this to be one of the most entertaining seasons I've seen. Ton of back & forth, great racing, no dominant rider making every week boring. And I love how often a kind-of out of nowhere situation would add entertainment, like the Suzuki/Rins victory.
And of course for me casually, Ducati having a great season with multiple teams.
Yeah, the Suzuki's are coming on strong at the end of the final season of a MotoGP team. Strange how that ended up working.

I really wish they covered Jack's recovery & charge to the front. The last time we saw him was going into T1 on lap 1...
I know they've got a championship to cover, but Jack went from P14 to p20 to p6? Holy shit.

They mentioned him ever so briefly. I would of liked to see him doing his thing back there more.
Even Morbidelli was riding well. Strange race for sure.

Yeah, in all fairness, he did show some speed.... well... minus the cruising that got him the double long lap![]()

Morbidelli is the biggest disappointment of the season his late speed is just weird as his is antics on track. The beast is under orders to let Pecco win, the kid has more speed on the 21 then the factory bikes. Fabio is just amazing Yamaha needs to step up their game!
Not taking anything away from Enea, but the 21 bike is better than 22.
Factory team switched to a 21/22 hybrid after early season to get the best from both.
Pramac are still on 22.
Franky's speed this round is still very, very strange. Maybe he found something, or just does well on super hot & greasy tracks.
