Exactly. Honestly I’d love to see him put it all together. He’s an exciting rider to watch and he’s got this weird, awkward personality that makes me want to root for him. Of course this part of the schedule makes it all a bit of a silly discussion, not the time to be drawing big conclusions.
That’s my whole point with KTM. Get through this part without doing yourself big harm and you’ll be setup well for the European campaign.
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
One of the best tracks this coming weekend on the calendar. Should be awesome!
Highside for Marc in fp3 makes me second guess a trade for him

I'm very happy and very angry about Moto2.

Great ride for Rins, terrible outcome for Mir.
Over in WSBK Bautista appears to be right back in form with Ducati, good to see!
That Moto2 incident was scaaaary to watch.
Heartbroken for Cam, he was riding the wheels off of that thing. Think he's really learning the bike & hopefully he's going to rise to the top more often going into the rest of Europe.
Congrats to Joe on his first win. It always kinda sucks a little when you get a win like that with so many other riders ahead of you crashing out cuz you know in the back of your mind that you weren't the fastest guy on the track that day, BUT... he WAS the fastest to keep it on two wheels, so there's that.
Sam Lowes was in a LOT of pain after the pile-up, but thankfully he and no others were injured which is pleasantly surprising.
The GP was a great race... Shame about the Miller/Mir incident, was bummed to see those guys go down, but at least it helped my fantasy team a little which is in shambles. I'm TUMBLING down the standings.https://www.bikesportnews.com/news/n...trange-restart
The 31-year-old was visibly in pain after he was struck by another bike in the gravel trap during the incident but medical checks have since cleared him of any injury, with the paddock now heading for round six at Jerez de la Frontera, in southern Spain, next weekend.
And I do NOT understand some of these rider valuation changes! WTF?!?!?!
I mean...
FQuat... WINS the race in spectacular fashion, earns FOURTY FOUR POINTS.... went DOWN in value 200k???
AMarquez... Vastly overachieving this weekend... He earned 18 points and went down in value 100k???
Mir... CRASHES out... Only NINE POINTS.... 300K INCREASE?!?! WTF!
Martin... SAME! Crashes out ON HIS OWN, just THREE POINTS... and went UP 300k!?
Bastianini... ZERO POINTS... UP 300K!!!
I only have 14.1mil at my disposal and some other teams further down the standings in the leagues are upwards of SEVENTEEN MIL or more.
From https://fantasy.motogp.com/help/faqs:
Yeah I don't get it...Q: How do you calculate the Rider's and Constructor's change in value?
A: Riders’ initial Price is based upon their Scores from the previous year along with numerous other factors. We do not provide exact details regarding how Riders Prices change from there on, other than to say that Rider Prices are based on past performances, with most recent games having the largest influence on the value.

I don't think the prices have updated yet. Might take a few days to reflect current values.

Jack broke my heart with that one. But that was a super exciting race, start to finish.
Moto 2 was crazy. Is that the Stewards fault? Should they have red-flagged that? I would normally say no, but that must have been a significant amount of rain for that many riders to crash in that fashion. Typically its just 1 or 2 when the rain starts, but that was like oil on the track.
With the glitches on no-spoiler mode in the app, I thought there was going to be a part 2 and was expecting ANOTHER big mess. Thankfully just the one.
Great for Joe, despite the circumstances. However, the American boys were ON IT the whole weekend. I'm hoping this is a sign that we've successfully infiltrated a paddock that is knowingly tough on foreigners.

Not sure how the stewards could have changed all that much with what they were doing. The Rain flags were waving and the riders had to ride as they saw fit for the conditions. Unsure if they could/would have red flagged it if say a particular corner station called in with torrential rain only in that corner. If they could/would red flag for that type of condition would they be able to get the red flags out and everyone slowed down in time for the corner they were headed into? Seems like this was just horrible timing of the rain getting heavier in one area of the track just as the riders, at the front of the pack, in a highly competitive class arrived at that corner. Amazing that with as many riders going down that the injuries were as minor as they were. Imagine if the front of the Moto3 pack came around and went into a corner just as it started to rain more heavily, there would be a 20 bike pileup. At least the Moto2 field was spread out a little bit and some of the trailing riders were able to get whoa'd up enough to not go down. Didn't take too long for that little cloud burst to dissipate and them to get back to racing through the same corner on slicks at race pace.
The rules not allowing for more of them to be able to get back into the race did suck for the crashers. They may want to revisit that, where Moto2 is technically a support class to the main show of MotoGP I'm not too sure that organizers would want to delay the show much more, which is likely the reason for the 5 minute rule as it is currently written.
Chill Oreo.. nothings been update.. would say by Wednesday with more racing this weekend...I mean...
FQuat... WINS the race in spectacular fashion, earns FOURTY FOUR POINTS.... went DOWN in value 200k???

I more or less feel the same, but was probing a bit.
In this case, I actually think the 5 minute rule is pretty fair? Riders could have taken less risk and gone slower, riding to the conditions. It technically is their mistake - the rain flags were waving.
I thought there was a rule that if you were part of the red-flag incident you are not allowed to restart in any circumstance? I may be making this up.

Allllright... You guys were right, the rider values just updated today. That's a little better but still some weirdness, IMO.
Anyway, did you guys see Viñales' recent comments about not wanting to change his riding style to the bike? I hope something was just lost in translation...

Okay, Martin and Miller both crashed out.
Miller goes down $100k to 2.9m; Martin goes up $100k to 3.0M.
Miller is higher in the standing; has completed 3 races vs Martins 2.
Very confused.
Oliveria - finishes 5, is higher than Miller in the standings - his price is still $2.6M - no change.
Bastianini - crashes out, losing lead in the championship - add $100k to his price ($3.3M)

Great ride by Fabio, Portimao definitely helped level the playing field for the Yamaha (which sucks.) Not a terrible weekend for Yamaha considering their results leading up to this. FUCK YEAH ZARCO!!!!!!!! He didn't get off the line well. I don't think he had anything for Fabio anyway; FQ was running mid to high 39's for most of the race, JZ was at high 39's to low 40's. Miller is.....just what I've said all along. Shame for Mir in that incident. Good salvage job for Marc after his start considering how much he struggled with rear grip. GREAT salvage job for Pecco with the way his weekend was going.
Very excited to see what the American boys can do with the rest of their season. Does a win help push Joe to ride at the front more consistently? Does Cam fall back a bit when we get to the "normal" European tracks? If he can push the field I think there's a good chance he's on a GP bike next year.
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
We'll never agree on Zarco or Miller - so leaving that one.
But the American boys...I am cautiously optimistic that they turned a corner this season and will no longer just be pack fodder. I don't see any alien emerging in the moto2 grid right now and think we'll continue to get some good ol' fashioned scrapping.
