Don't see why not? Stock motor, stock wheels, only an exhaust on it... doesn't even have a PCIII. And yea, DOT tires.

Get a PC3, and if it doesn't have adjustable cam pulleys, a set of those too. Then let someone spend some time timing it. The 1000DS and 1100DS motors respond beautifully to cam timing, you can crank up the midrange without sacrificing anything on top, plus they run smoother. Stock timing from the factory is all over the place, never know what you'll find...

    Re: Watch for water buffalo...

Well that'd be one thing if I had a 1100DS motor But a lot carries over to the 800. My plans this winter are for a full tear down, get some weight off the thing, and build it for ULSB racing next year... meaning likely some high comps, timing setup, maybe some light porting. Nothing extreme but it should give it that little punch it's lacking now.... that is of course, pending that I still have it. This weekend will dictate a lot of my offseason plans.

We'll find out this weekend. Power to weight seems just about on par there buddy.

I meant the one I bought off you.

Pretty sure I did a 1:20.8 or something thereabouts on it. SH*T was fast, and out-dragged Rockwell's built SS to the line from T12. Then again, I took the uber-light forged mags off her, those helped a lot

I had made a mental note of your best time from your blog. I thought I had beat it.

Of course I had the heavy wheels and the FI 800 in it.

Doc, you better hope I don't get ahold of an SV this weekend.

    That is all.

Riding an SV against Doc's Ducati will be minimizing his excuses exponentially.

Hell, where's Kurlon's GS when I need it??!

Sadly I'm afraid I'll be aboard the SS for ULSB, however for LWSBK perhaps you could have a show down. Same bike, same engine....

    Just sayin.

Sorry, it's karting my wife around happily. You're more than welcome to try and convince her to lend it to you though.
