I know Jim will have a hard time with this, but please try to take this seriously. It lets people know decent people to buy from.

I expect that users like Mr Duncan will lead the pack in positive iTrader ratings.

Looks like there's a limit to the number of ratings you can do in a day. I was trying to give credit where credit is due to people who have bought or sold to me, but when I tried to do #4, I got the message that I couldn't do anymore today.

It was limited to 3. I just changed it to 5 but under normal circumstances this wouldn't be an issue, you're just backfilling because it was just added to the site. The limit is to hinder faudulent padding of ratings.

Is there any way we can name the entire rating system after Chuck since this was his brainchild?

i.e. -
Positive = good chuck
Negative = bad chuck
Neutral = wood chuck

It goes both ways... getting burned by sellers, as well as having a positive experience.

If someone is a good seller to work with, then you're more likely to buy from them in the future (knowing nothing about them), but having this system in place to "vouch" for them.

That's actually how I should have worded it. However, *I* find it more important who to beware of. It burns my ass up when someone gets screwed buying something here on NESR and we can't do anything about it. At the very least, this will at least warn others as far as who to watch out for. Although I have a feeling those who've treated others less than admirably here will be deleting threads before people can give them their just feedback...

But yeah. On the other hand, it will also help people determine who's trustworthy...
