Hi, my name is Dana, I think I know a few of you VT guys from the car scene. (i had the big turbo pearl white audi 90). I'm currently building a TDI powered audi 90 quattro.
Currently im riding a 2003 vfr800, stock except for slip ons (thinking about selling).
I commute over the App Gap every day, which is pretty awesome on the vfr.
Thanks for joining! I'm over on the west side of your commute...

How do from The Northeast. Is 17 as bad as I've heard, or does that VFR soak it all up?

Well luckily I used to be big into MX, so I just put the weight on my pegs, pinch the tank and ride like I'm on an mx track for the rough spots.
its pretty bad, i ride it EVERY day twice, so I know what corners are good, and where the good lines are. I can still drag the pegs and have a good time, but a lot of it is really broken up and bumpy and you cant really have a good corner.
That being said, I still have a blast every trip over, the first two corners on the west side are good, the corner by mad river is excellent, and the few corners below mad river are smooth enough to have fun.
You almost have to pre-run it a couple times before you really rip, then you can pick the better lines.
